What You’ll Do We are looking for an experienced Estimator proficient in Cubit and Excel to assess project requirements, calculate costs, and prepare detailed estimates. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring project accuracy and cost-effectiveness, collaborating closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver reliable cost projections. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects using Cubit and Excel. Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and related documents to determine cost components. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals and requirements. Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for labour, materials, and equipment. Develop and maintain a database of historical costs and industry benchmarks. Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations. Prepare bid proposals and documentation for submission to clients or stakeholders. Monitor project budgets and provide updates on cost variances during the project lifecycle. Requirements What You Bring We’re looking for someone who: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. 3+ years of experience in estimating, with expertise in using Cubit and Excel. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in preparing detailed cost breakdowns and quantity take-offs. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple estimates simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards. Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
