Implementation Engineer Location: Remote (United States) Target Start Date: 1 May or 1 June 2026 About CyberNut CyberNut is a security awareness training platform built specifically for K-12 schools . Our platform helps teachers, staff, and students recognize and report suspicious emails before they become real security incidents. We partner with school districts across the country to deploy phishing simulations, reporting tools, and security awareness programs designed for education environments. Position Overview The Implementation Engineer will support the technical onboarding and deployment of CyberNut ’s solutions to K-12 customers. In this role, you will configure integrations with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, deploy reporting add-ons and extensions, launch baseline phishing simulations, and troubleshoot technical issues during onboarding. Key Responsibilities Assist CyberNut ’s Sales team with any pre-evaluation technical questions during demonstrations and pre-deployment planning. Assist CyberNut ’s Customer Success team with any final onboarding technical issues, questions, and overall setup during final onboarding. Run the technical onboarding process for new customers. Configure integrations with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Create Google Cloud projects, enable APIs, configure OAuth credentials, and manage service accounts. Register and configure Azure app registrations and Microsoft Graph API permissions. Deploy and maintain the Gmail add-on, Chrome extension, and Outlook add-in. Validate integrations and ensure the CyberNut reporting tool functions correctly. Launch baseline phishing simulations for new customers. Ensure deliverability through allowlisting and Direct Mail Injection (DMI). Verify reporting and analytics within the CyberNut admin console. Diagnose and resolve issues, including email delivery failures, add-on deployment errors, directory sync gaps, and group or OU mismatches. Troubleshoot using platforms such as Google Admin Console, Google Cloud Console, Azure Portal, and Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product teams to resolve issues and improve integrations. Create technical documentation, installation guides, and onboarding materials for school IT teams. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Relevant Experience Experience administering Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 environments. Experience working in, or with K12 school districts is highly desirable Experience deploying or integrating Gmail add-ons, Chrome extensions, or Outlook add-ins. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, APIs, service accounts, and OAuth configuration. Experience with Azure AD, app registrations, and Microsoft Graph API permissions. Experience configuring SAML SSO or identity integrations. Familiarity with email deliverability, spam filtering, and allowlisting. Skills & Tools Used Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability. Ability to guide school IT staff through technical setup steps. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Google Suite, Zoom, Google Cloud Console, Google Admin Console, Azure Portal, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Cybernut Admin Portal, Hubspot, Fathom, Storylane, and Dock Travel: Limited travel, with likely attending one company offsite, and 1-2 conferences annually.
